english ear?!

最近、”英語耳”という本を買いました。
ちょっと大きな本屋に行くと良く見かけるので知っている人も多いのでは。

この本の趣旨としては、以下のようなものです。
「発音できない音は聞き取れない。
　あなたは but と bat を区別して発音できますか？」

まだ、それほど訓練したわけではないですが、
これは効果ありっぽいです。

オイラは、 sea と she すら判別できなかったのですが、
集中して訓練するとこれが区別できるんですよ。

発音なんて、繰り返してシャドーイングすれば身につくとおもってたけど、
やはり短期間に発音を伸ばすには、このような本で集中して訓練することが必要だなと改めて感じた次第です。
これで、リスニングも伸びたら本当に最高ですね。



Recently, I bought a book, "english ear".
I think you might know it because you can see it at book store.

The outline of this book is the following.
"If you can't pronounce it, you can't catch it. Can you pronounce *but* and *bat* distinguishably".

I haven't trained so much, but it seems very effective.

In fact, I couldn't recognize even the difference between *sea* and *she* at first. But after some training, I could recognize them.

I thought the shadowing was the best way to get my pronunciation better. Though, I now feel it is necessary to concentrate and train with such a book, if I'd like to brush up my pronunciation rapidly.
It sound very nice if my listening skill are also progressed.
